Diligence And Hard Work Required

Eccl. 9:10; Prov. 21:5; 6:6-11

Getting to the top in our career, business and spiritual life requires maximum effort because the hands of the diligent will rule. The diligent worker plans ahead for the future just as the virtuous woman in the Bible. Hard work yesterday has to be followed with hard work today to guarantee tomorrow’s prosperity (Prov. 6:6). The call to hard work is a call to a truly purposeful living. It is a call not to waste your life but to get up and get out and do something with the opportunity God has placed before you. God is an industrious God, because he succeeds, we too can succeed if we are not slothful in business. God honours hard workers by crowning them with His personal blessings. Therefore, use your power, intelligence, vision, gifts and all that God gave you to do something worthwhile.

POINT OF EMPHASIS: Hard work   brings great gain.

PRAYER POINT: Father Lord, I refuse to labour in vain.
