Beware of the Voice of the “Multitude”

Matt. 20:29-34

We are daily bombarded with messages from the media like “Don’t wait if you see a small child alone by the roadside crying for help, it is a trap!” Bearing in mind that the perils of the times are on the increase, we need to be directed and ordered by the Holy Spirit. “… And He shall teach you ALL things” (Jn. 14:26) “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Rom. 8:14). Our son-ship is not limited to religious faithfulness to Church meetings and giving of tithes. The Holy Spirit will keep, guide and lead us into all truth in showing mercy and will definitely instruct us to withdraw from any help that may bring harm to us. How often do we shut our ears to the cry for mercy from the thousands crying for help daily around us?

POINT OF EMPHASIS: Public opinion must not dictate how far we can go or how much we can do in showing mercy. The Holy Spirit will do.

PRAYER POINT: Holy Spirit, I thank You and trust You to daily lead and order my steps to show mercy, in Jesus’ Precious name.
