Don’t Be Unjust
Prov. 29:25-27
Christians are enjoined not to fear the power of man, prince, multitude, etc because this kind of fear brings snares. We must not become unjust in order to avoid the wrath of man (v. 25). We must be courageous to depend on the power of God which is capable of keeping us from the fear of man. A safe way for one to be happy indeed is to look up to God. It is whatever God ordained that becomes our lot because justice comes from Him (v. 26). If you are terrified about what a person can do to you, your worrying over the situation may consume you. Verse 29 says ‘An unjust person is disgusting to righteous people. A decent person is disgusting to wicked people.
Point of Emphasis: The deeds of the unjust are abomination to the righteous.
Prayer Point: Help me, my Lord, not to be terrified by what a human being can do to me but make me to walk in the integrity of my heart, hearing you.
