Embrace Peaceful Co-existence

Exo. 2:11-14

The world today is made up of people living with discord, disunity, and

confusion. But the beauty of God’s kingdom lies in true fellowship, love and unity which bind all saints together. Today’s text reveals the picture of two Hebrew men who were supposed to be bonded together in love for what they have in common as descendants of Abraham. Unfortunately, they were not united instead, they were fighting each other. Living peaceably with one another is a major and cardinal pillar in Christendom because the Christian faith is established on the unity of the Triune God – 1 Jn. 5:7. Man is made to live in harmony with others, and live with one another peaceably with understanding and love. Christians should be prepared to live peaceably with each other. The use of force as exhibited by Moses to free his fellow men from the bondage of the Egyptian is totally prohibited. By strength shall no man prevail. God is preparing you for greatness, be patient and live peaceably. The process is in progress, wait for God to perfect the development process in you.

Point of Emphasis: The power and glory of God will abide with us when we remain united and bounded together in oneness.

Prayer Point: Lord, please help me to live in harmony with everyone that I come in contact with.
