Light And Salt To Other People
Matt. 5:13-16
Christians live in a world that has lost its moral bearing. People relate with one another as if their conscience is dead – people behaving as wild animals, devouring one another. Moral decay can be seen everywhere and every time. God has placed the Christian amidst the pervasive perversion in order to be the salt of the earth. In his relationship with people around him, the Christian should be the salt which will present and preserve God’s love. He should not participate in the perversion going on around him. The Christian is also expected to relate with people to show them the light of God. Man has lost direction and does not know the way to get what he needs. The Christian in his loving relationship can show the way and bring men back to God.
Point of Emphasis: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify God.
Prayer Point: I am light through the power of the resurrection. My light shall not turn to darkness in Jesus name.
