God’s Leading Gives Peace

Rom. 8:5-9, 13-14

When your thoughts, actions and plans are approved by God. He will confirm it by giving you an inner peace. (1 Jn. 2:20). The scripture says, let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts (deciding and setting with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state) to which you were also called (to live)”, (Col. 3:15 AMP). When you’re being led by God, you will have a sense of peace even in the midst of difficult circumstances. His peace is like a baseball umpire who decides what’s safe and what’s “out of bounds” for you. The Holy Spirit imparts into children of God inner peace from God. We must consistently allow this inner peace to guide and rule our heart in all our decision making. The peace of God always empowers children of God to think speak and act according to God’s word. Ask for this inner perfect peace of God if you are not experiencing it.

Point of Emphasis: Do not rush to take decision on important issues. Ask and listen to God first.

Prayer Point: Lord God, give me Your perfect peace. Let me experience it everyday of my life.
