Do Not Allow Distractions To Your Vision
1 Kgs. 13:15-24
If God has given you a vision for your life just like the young prophet, there will be lots of distractions coming your way to truncate the plans of God for you. It may come from family members, friends, colleagues, other believers and even ministers since they were not there when God spoke to you or gave you the vision. People may not understand why you are doing something, they may offer human or carnal ideas, they may ask you to follow some human protocols, etc. It is your responsibility to ensure that you stay within the call or vision of God in your life. There are people like the old prophet who had been forsaking by God but they still rely on their past experiences to guide, counsel and instruct others. Such may mislead you to lose God’s vision and purpose for your life. Be careful.
Point of Emphasis: Stay within the vision of God for your life – Don’t be distracted.
Prayer Point: Lord, help me not to surrender my vision to human ideas so that I will not be misled.
