ARRESTING THE SPIRIT OF DEATH

Death is a spirit. However death has instruments through which he executes his operation.

Some instruments of death include;

1. Deprivation: hunger, thirst, nakedness, extreme starvation
2. Sin. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. Ezek.18:4
3. Unbroken curses and hidden covenants.

And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever. (1 Samuel 2:32 KJV)

Fulfilled: 1Sam.22:18

These 85 guys died tragically and untimely. They were even pastors. Yet there was a curse and judgement hanging over their lives. And they did not know!

There are people who are hale and hearty right now. But they will not see the end of this year. Except they pray and break all those hidden curses.

I am not talking about 5 mins prayers where you make the sign of the cross. I am speaking of real intensive prayers coupled  with holy living. No matter how much you pray, if you don’t change your lifestyle and stop sinning, you will still die.

Some of you have been dedicated to some altars and idols without knowing. You must pray to break those things off your life.

      4. Sickness.  2Kings20:1

Sickness can kill. When the spirit of death is at work, something as common as a common cold can kill someone. Something as tiny as an headache can destroy someone.

Do not treat sickness lightly. Sickness is a spirit that you must fight. The reason is because it can lead to death.

      5. Eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood. These are witchcraft powers.

6. Shadow of death. Anything that brings you closer to death. This can include;

– Friends

If you are walking with a friend who has a death sentence hanging over his head, you may share his calamity.

There are people who have covenant with untimely death. If someone who has a covenant with untimely death is your best friend, the day the death comes to take him, it may take you too.

Walk out of the wrong company.

– lifestyle( adultery, fornication) etc

For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead. (Proverbs 2:18 KJV)

Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. (Proverbs 7:27 KJV)

If your spouse is having affairs, then you are walking in the shadow of death. The reason is because they can easily transfer something that is not yours to you. This is why you must pray very well.

        7. Fear– especially the fear of death

The only normal, legal and allowable time to die is after you have lived out our full life here on earth. Psalms 91:16

PRAYER POINTS

1. Open your mouth and thank God for life.
2. Every wicked power surrounding me to eat my flesh and drink my blood, scatter by fire in Jesus name.
3. Blood of Jesus Christ, flow into my life and destroy all hidden curses and covenants in Jesus name.
4. Psalms 38:2. Rebuke the arrows that stick fast. Every arrow of death and sickness that has stuck fast to my body, l command you to come out in Jesus name.
5. Spirit of fear, I command you to come all the way out of my life in Jesus name
6. Blood of Jesus Christ, deliver anyone around me carrying the curse of untimely death.
7. Spirit of death; hear the word of the Lord, neither me nor any member of my family is your candidate.
8. Messengers of death, I command you to return to your senders in Jesus might name.
9. My potential will not die
10. My finances will not die in Jesus name
11. My passion and zeal for God will not die
12. No organ in m pay body shall die in Jesus name
13. This church will not die in Jesus name
14. Miracles, testimonies, signs and wonders will not die in this church in Jesus name.
