Effective Visitation And Follow-Up

Phil. 1:3-10

Paul knew the great importance of effective follow-up in the growth of the individuals and the congregation as a whole. He went personally to visit the Churches so as to be able to strengthen them spiritually. He prayed for their growth and well being constantly. He wrote letters to them to encourage, correct, exhort, instruct or rebuke them as appropriate. A Church that will enjoy lasting revival will also put in place a very robust visitation and follow-up programme. Visitation and follow-up will not be left to the ministers only but members will also be galvanised to get involved. As a member, do you complain that other Church members are not showing you love? What you really need is for you to get involved in ministering to others through visitation.

Point of Emphasis: Get the Church members involved actively in visitation and follow-up.

Prayer Point:           Father, renew our concern for others in the Church, to visit and care for them.
