Don’t Show Favouritism

Jam. 2:1-4

From the passage read, James condemns in great terms Christians who make hasty judgments based on what some people are. Christians should learn how to relate to people based on decision as led by the Spirit not a reaction or what we perceive by our self intuition. We must love people not on the basis of what we can get in return. Love must be shown to people unconditionally as God is not a respecter of persons. It is ideal to deal with each individual in line with his or her inward gifts and not on outward appearances.

Point of Emphasis: God is not a respecter of persons.

Prayer Point: I receive Christ-like spirit to deal with people not on the basis of outward appearances but according to how God sees them.
