Live In Peace And Joy In The Holy Spirit

Rom. 14:10-19

Apostle Paul wrote the Romans, who were having argument on food considered clean or unclean, that the kingdom of God is not for eating and drinking but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you have got peace with God and the peace of God, you must take further step by pursuing things which make for peace with all people and the things by which one may edify another and will have joy.  All of these you cannot do by yourself without the Holy Spirit in you. Take the following advice in Romans 14:10-19 seriously: (i) know that you are completely accountable to the Lord (vv. 10-12) (ii) Don’t put a stumbling block in the ways of others (v. 13) (iii) don’t let others impose their values on you or you do the same on others (v. 14) (iv) make love your highest goal in life (v. 15) (v) make your priority right – don’t major on the minor, vice-versa. Pursue peace and add value to people (vv. 16-19).

Point of Emphasis:  Be a peace loving person and an ambassador of peace.

Prayer Point:  Lord God, make me a peace loving person and give me grace to live in peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
