You Are The Salt
Matt. 5:13; Lk. 14:34-35
So many times we think if I don’t do it, another person will do it. Don’t wait for anyone else. You are there strategically to effect the change, to make the wrong approach and lifestyles right. You are the salt to enrich, to give taste and to prevent decadence. Imagine somebody like Esther, the queen who single-handedly delivered a whole nation from going into oblivion, what if she has shifted her responsibility? What if she had hidden her identity? What if she felt so relaxed and indifferent thinking that at least nothing would happen to her in the palace. But she rose as the salt and preserved a whole nation. Preserve the Christian faith in your work place, in your home, in your neighborhood, in your family, among friends and relations. That is why you are there and that is why God has invested so much into your life. If you fail to live up to God’s standard, and you become relegated, it might not be easy getting back your status again.
POINT OF EMPHASIS: Don’t wait for anyone else, you are there strategically to effect the change.
PRAYER POINT: Lord, I need the enablement to take responsibility.
