An Age Of Peace

Isa. 2:1-5

The message of Isaiah in the passage for our admonition this morning speaks of God’s kingdom that would triumph at the last days. The New Testament asserts that it is a period between Christ’s first coming and His second coming. The prophesy centres on God’s final purpose for Israel and the human race. Isaiah tells us about a time when God will establish His rulership over all the Earth. Many people prefer to submit to the authorities of their kingdoms and government rather than the authority of the Lord Jesus – the author of the glorious church. The reading makes it obvious that there shall be emergence of a glorious church which shall overshadow all other authorities, rulers and governments. When it comes, instructions and directions shall be received from the spiritual authorities of our Lord Jesus Christ. Undoubtedly, Christ has inaugurated His universal church. The members of this church are already enjoying the peace which Christ alone offers. This is an opportunity to consider your ways. Are you still groping in darkness under sin? Make up your mind today to become a bonafide member of His glorious church and start to enjoy the desired freedom and peace. Shalom’!
