Be Generous

Prov. 11:25

God has been so good to man since inception, that He made man to rule over the affairs within his environment. God is a perfect example of this where He gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ for us to be reconciled back to Him. It is God’s desire for us to show compassion.  Giving is a challenge to most people that is why we need to acknowledge that God owns everything, once we grasp this fact we look at our possessions and finances differently. God has entrusted us with a portion of His riches, you have the privilege and responsibility of taking care of His property  and spending His money in ways that please Him (2 Cor. 9:11). God wants us to bless others, pay our tithe, support local churches and give special offerings, He loves a cheerful giver.

POINT OF EMPHASIS: It is good to show mercy to the needy, this makes the  heart

of God happy.

PRAYER POINT: Lord, help me to love and bless others.
