MEMORY VERSE
Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind’. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself’ (Matt. 22:37-39) NKJV

Love Is A Debt To Your Neighbours
Rom. 13:5-8
Debt, under whatever guise, name or reason, is bad. Christians should ensure that they stay clear of it. However, if for one reason or the other you are indebted to people, as people of integrity and as matter of Kingdom ethic, you must pay. The Bible says owe no man anything (v. 8). However, the next statement “but to love your neighbour” is an indication that the only thing you are permitted to owe anybody is love. Once you realize that you owe people love, then the best thing to do is to be paying your debt of love back gradually. I say gradually because, love is a debt that you can never finish paying until you are called home. How to pay this debt of love is through your act of kindness towards your neighbours. Think no evil and do no evil to your neighbours. Love them just as Christ loves you.
Point of Emphasis: Owe no one anything but to love one another.
Prayer Point: Lord, help me to pay my debt of love to my neighbours.
