Don’t Allow Your Reputation To Suffer
Ruth 2:1-13
Ruth had everything going against her, she was a foreigner, a Moabite, poor and a window. She displayed again her humility to Boaz (verse 10) whereas her good reputation which people were talking about her had got to Boaz before (verse 11). Character is indeed contagious. Ruth did not allow her character to suffer under the unpleasant situation she went through and was rewarded for it. If you have made up your mind to please God and people with good character, God will strengthen you.
POINT OF EMPHASIS: Ruth’s character earned her a reputation despite her depressing situation.
PRAYER POINT: Lord Jesus, I am trusting you for the grace that will not allow my reputation to suffer under any circumstance.
