Trust God For Perfect Peace
Isa. 26:1-4
God gives perfect peace to those who trust Him and are faithful. Experiencing God’s perfect peace makes one to live purposefully. Knowing your purpose gives meaning to your life. Some people try dubious methods or means to discover it, the only assured way of getting it right is through God. When your life has a steadfast purpose, you can bear almost anything. Without it, nothing is bearable. Isaiah 49:4 (NIV) says “I have labored to no purpose; I have spent my strength in vain and for nothing”. In order not to spend your strength in vain, you must receive God’s perfect peace which will make you to focus steadfastly on God’s approved purpose. Having a steadfast purpose simplifies life. It defines what you do and what you don’t do. It becomes the standard you use to evaluate which activities are essential and which aren’t. Without purpose you’ve no real foundation on which to base your decisions, allocate your time and use your resources. You tend to make choices based on your head knowledge (circumstances, pressures and your mood). To avoid this, just have enough time to do God’s will. It will lead to peace of mind’.
Point of Emphasis: Trust in God brings perfect peace.
Prayer Point: I obtain God’s perfect peace to live a life with purpose in the name of Jesus.
