Emulate The Relationship Between Jesus His

Father Jn. 17:20-24

Jesus prayed for the spiritual unity of believers, not an organizational one. This is made possible by living in Christ as illustrated in verses 21-23. We must also separate ourselves from the world (verses 14-16). Also we must be sanctified in the truth (verse 17, 19), receive and believe the truth (verse 17). This is the climax in obeying Christ’s instructions and making disciples of the world. We must ensure that none of these things is missing so that there will be fulfilment of what Christ prayed for believers. Jesus Christ ensured that He obeyed God’s commands to the letter. We must demonstrate our infinite loyalty to Jesus by carrying out what He instructs us to do. When Christians maintain unrivalled relationship with fellow Christians then there would be peace and tranquility among brethren.

Point of Emphasis: Play your role to follow the kind of relationship between Christ and God.

Prayer Point: Lord Jesus, I receive the grace to manifest Your glory which the Father has given You.
