Be Faithful

Lk. 16:1-10

The parable of the unjust steward which Jesus told us in the text read this morning teaches us some vital lessons. The steward forgot that life is not about ‘getting’ but ‘giving’. He used the opportunity given him for personal benefit. He therefore failed the integrity test. Though he understood the value of relationship and influence, he used it wrongly for selfish motives. As a believer, don’t use your opportunity wrongly. Unlike this unjust steward, be faithful.

Point of Emphasis: Don’t be shrewd in your act of stewardship.

Prayer Point: Help me, oh God, to be faithful in using my opportunities well.
