Reward For Following Jesus

Mk. 10:28-30

Being the salt of the earth has far reaching blessings both in this present age and hereafter. To become one, you must have dropped a lot of things for the higher calling of being a child of God and salt of the earth. You might be tempted to think that you will lose a lot by being a child of God, by following Jesus and identifying with His views and values. Jesus will definitely give you much more than you would have lost if you follow Him and shun the world. In this world, you gain a lot as a salt, you are preserved from the ravaging decadence hitting the people who are living sinful lives. You are protected from corruption that ensues because of the love of the world, the lust of the flesh the pride of life and the cares of life. Eventually you are sure of making heaven the final abode of those distinguishing themselves on the earth.

POINT OF EMPHASIS: Jesus will definitely give you much more than you would have lost if you follow Him.

PRAYER POINT: Lord, please help me to follow You till the end.
