Relationship Marked With Helping Others
Heb. 13:1-6
As the economy bites harder it is getting more difficult to think of helping other people, even those within the fellowship. The welfare box is most often empty and the welfare purse very lean. The relationship within the church should not ignore helping the needy. Abraham did not know he was entertaining the Angels of the Lord when he invited three strangers into his tent to minister to their needs. It is not provable to say he received the promise of a child because of his generosity. But it is safe to state that the experience had a lasting impact on Abraham and on his destiny. In the church, every believer should develop the habit of ministering to the needs of others, especially the needy within the congregation. No one is too poor to help someone else. Ensure that you partake in the welfare of brethren in the church.
Point of Emphasis: Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
Prayer Point: In the name of Jesus, I will not miss divinely arranged opportunity to meet others’ needs.
