I Don’t Want To Insult My Maker
Prov. 17:5; Job 31:29; Prov. 14:31
God is the father of the fatherless and the judge of the poor and the oppressed. Whoever insults them insults God, their Maker. You must not rejoice at their poverty but be merciful, kind and gracious to them, that’s when you honor God. If you oppress them and they cry to the Lord and the Lord hears their cry, it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God. It is indeed true that the poor shall not cease from the land (Deut. 15:11) but, they must not be oppressed. As you take care of them, you honor the Lord who has given you wealth and you keep unto yourself riches in places of eternal habitations.
POINT OF EMPHASIS: He that mocks the poor insults His maker.
PRAYER POINT: I receive grace to give to the poor, righteousness goes before me to purchase riches in eternal habitations in Jesus’ name.
