One Body, One Spirit
Num. 11:10-25
Moses had been the sole administrator leading the Israelites through the desert to the Promised Land. The burden of leadership was getting too heavy for him, hence, he cried to the Lord. God took out of the Spirit resident in Moses to give to seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on the seventy, they began to prophesy. It was the same Spirit that was in Moses that rested on the seventy elders. They could all operate at the same frequency since it was the same Spirit working in them. In the church of God, everyone should be filled with the same Holy Spirit. Brethren in the church should be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit so that they can be of one accord because when a person within the church is possessed by a strange spirit inter-personal relationship suffers greatly.
Point of Emphasis: Every member of the church should work under the power of the Holy Spirit alone.
Prayer Point: In the name of Jesus Christ, we banish from our midst all strange spirits who cause division.
