Serve One Another In Love
Gal. 5:13-26
The number one proof of being children of God is our love one for another. The Apostle exhorts Christians in this passage to practical godliness; the display of love as the best antidote against the snares of false teachers, fake brethren and end time devices of the enemy. There should not be room for strife or any corrupt affections and practices that might create gap and disaffection which will eventually create grounds for quarrels, contentions and suspicion among brethren. Instead of in-fighting, superiority battles, biting and devouring one another on account of our different opinions, we should all be committed to one another, follow godly leaders, help one another for the common goal of establishing and expanding God’s kingdom on the earth and ultimately make heaven. We are all supposed to jointly fight against sin and the kingdom of darkness both in ourselves and in places where we live, establishing the dominion of Christ. This is what we are chiefly concerned to fight against, and above everything else we should make it our business to oppose and suppress.
Point of Emphasis: Help one another for the common goal of establishing and expanding God’s kingdom on the earth and ultimately make heaven.
Prayer Point: O Lord please help me to be humble enough to commit my all to serving others for the expansion of Your kingdom.
