Be Courageous To Praise God
Ps. 50:20-23
During conflict, common sense tells us that the best way to respond to somebody whom we are having conflict with is to show our anger. As Christians, we must not exhibit character traits that will not glorify God. Instead, be courageous to praise God whenever you are provoked. Do you know that praising God is the best thing to do first before anything else? Praising God makes every circumstance of our lives to be complete essential and eminently worthwhile. First, we praise God because He deserves to be praised and He is worthy to receive our praise (Ps. 96:4; 145:3; 22:4; Rev. 4:11). Secondly, praising God is useful and favourable for us because we are reminded of the greatness of God. His power and presence in our lives is reinforced in our understanding Ps. 135:3. Thirdly, praise discharges strength in faith which causes God to move on our behalf Ps. 8:2. Fourthly, God inhabits the atmosphere of praise Ps. 22:3. If we want to see the clear manifestation of God’s blessing and grace, all we need to do is to praise Him with all of our heart, mind and soul.
Point Of Emphasis: Don’t exhibit a character trait that can hinder God from intervening in your matter.
Prayer Point: Help me Lord to praise You always even when I am in the midst of conflict.
