The Word As A Guide To Success

Jos. 1:6-9

This passage contains the recipe for good success. These include- “be strong, courageous, and diligent” (verses 6-7). Also let God’s word guide you. One of the names of God is ‘Alpha and Omega’ which means ‘The Beginning and the End’. God knows the beginning from the end and the end from the beginning. This same God has commanded us, just as He commanded Joshua, to meditate on the book of the law and to observe all that is therein for our ways to be prosperous and for us to have good success. In a world full of uncertainty about the future, the ‘game’ of life is in our favour as Christians, if only we choose to study the Bible and follow the instructions laid out therein. We have received the Bible as a guide and a roadmap, all that is left is for us to accept and follow it. For you to have good success and be prosperous, let the word of God be your guide.

Point of Emphasis: Christians should meditate on the word of God and follow the instructions given. You must know and follow the word of God.

Prayer Point: Help me to follow Your word and reap the benefits of obedience to Your word.
