LIMPING BETWEEN TWO OPINIONS
There are many today who are caught between opinions.
God has given his opinion in the bible.
Rather than standing by the opinion of God, you are seeking the opinion of people.
God said in his word;
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Matthew 6:14-15 NIV)
But you still stand there asking people’s opinions. Do you think I should forgive him?
God has given his opinion about sexual purity;
Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. (Hebrews 13:4 NIV)
But you are going about seeking the opinion of man.
Whose opinion will you stand with? God’s or Man’s?
Some of you sense that Jesus is calling you. But you are so concerned about the opinion of people; family members, friends, etc.
Some of you won’t serve Christ or come to church because of the opinion of people.
It is time to die to the opinion of people and embrace God’s opinion!
I love Jesus because he didn’t buy into people’s opinion about him.
Some called him a thief
Others called him a deceiver.
Some said he’s a samaritan.
Others said he is possessed with demons.
Some said he was using juju and voodoo to work miracles,
Others said he was a good man.
But whether you called him a good man or a bad man, it didn’t matter.
His life was not controlled by your opinions.
His life was controlled by the opinion of his Heavenly Father!
This is how we are supposed to be;
And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form, (John 5:37 NIV)
