Jesus Will Take Us To Heaven

Jn. 14:1-3

Jesus is a promise-keeping Saviour, just as His Father. He promised believers that He will come back again to the earth to take them to live with Him in His Father’s house, which is heaven (Matt. 6:9). Heaven is where God is, it is where Jesus is and it is where He is taking all believers to at the end of the age. Believers should therefore be desirous of this place where they will see God and Jesus face-to-face. This promise of Jesus should also be a source of consolation to us when the troubles of this world blow on us and it seems that all hope of comfort and joy is lost. When we get to heaven, we will forget the sufferings of this world.

Point of Emphasis:        In heaven, you will be with God and Christ.

Prayer Point:            Lord, strengthen me with the promise of heaven in the face of life difficulties.
