Prepare To Meet Thy God

Amos 4:1-12

In the passage of today, God sent Amos to declare the wickedness of the people of Israel to them and to tell them that since they refused to repent and return to Him, they should prepare to meet their God in judgment. What a privileged information! I believe that a wise person among them would repent upon hearing such a message from God. Beloved, this is a golden opportunity for you to amend your ways. Check your life and your walk with God, in what areas have you done wickedly in oppressing the poor and dealing unjustly to people. The Lord is calling you to repent this morning as you are preparing to meet Jesus when He returns to take the saints home.

Point of Emphasis:          Return to God in repentance this morning for you to be accepted.

Prayer Point:                                     Lord, I repent of all my wicked deeds to You and to humanity in Jesus’ name.
