DAILY BIBLE READING
Called To Preach The Gospel
Acts 16:6-10
This passage is an example of how the Holy Spirit can help, lead and direct us to preach where God has ordained us to preach. Paul intended to go to some places but the spirit of God forbade him and revealed a vision to him to go to Macedonia and help them. Paul and his team interpreted the vision and concluded that God has called them to preach the gospel to the people of Macedonia. Know that all believers have been called to preach the gospel, therefore, trust the Holy Spirit to help you in the act and always obey God’s instruction to preach the gospel whether on the bus, to your friends, neighbour, co-workers, or from house to house, hospital, prison, or market place.
Point of Emphasis: You have been called to preach, so don’t refuse the call.
Prayer Point: Lord, help me to do what You have commanded me to do i.e. preach the gospel.
