Bible Baptism Is By Immersion

Mk. 1:9-11

There are so many modes of baptism that different people believe in. Some believe in sprinkling of water on the people, some dip their fingers into the water and make cross sign in the forehead of people but from the Bible accounts, full immersion in the water is recorded. During Jesus’ baptism, the Bible says “and immediately, coming up from the water” (v. 10), that means He had been down in the water or under the water before coming up. If Jesus, our Saviour, was immersed in the water during baptism, we should do it as He did it. While not condemning others, total immersion is what GOFAMINT believes in for that is what the Bible teaches.

Point of Emphasis: As soon as Jesus was baptised, He went up out of water.

Prayer Point:            Help me to follow Jesus perfectly in my water baptism rite.

LE BAPTEME BIBLIQUE EST (CELUI) PAR IMMERSION

MARC 1 :9-11

Il y a tant de modes de baptême crus par différentes personnes. D’aucuns croient à l’aspersion d’eau sur les gens, d’autres plongent leurs doigts dans l’eau et en font une croix sur le front des gens mais selon les rapports de la Bible, l’immersion totale dans l’eau est inscrite. Pendant le baptême de Jésus, la Bible dit : « au moment où il sortait de l’eau» (v.10), ce qui veut dire qu’il a été sous l’eau avant de sortir. Si Jésus, notre Seigneur, fut immergé dans l’eau pendant le baptême, nous devons le faire comme il l’a fait. Bien que ne condamnant pas les autres, la MEF Int’l croit à l’immersion totale car c’est ce que la Bible enseigne.             

Point essentiel : Dès que Jésus fut baptisé, il sortit de l’eau.

Axe de prière : Aide-moi à suivre Jésus parfaitement dans le rite du baptême d’eau.
