Topic:  THE GOD OF SUDDENLY

When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence. (Isaiah 64:3 KJV)

There was a time when you came and did terrifying things that we did not expect; the mountains saw you and shook with fear. (Isaiah 64:3 GNT)

1.The God of suddenly is the God of surprise visitation.

2. The God of suddenly is the God of swift operation. Ps.18:4-14

Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily. (Psalm 102:2 KJV)

In the covenant, there is provision for speedy answers and intervention.

3. The God of suddenly is the God of last minute miracles. In the less than two months for 2015 to round up, God can still bring a glory out of your story.

He can turn your funeral into a celebration. Read John 11

The God of suddenly responds to the holy desperation of his people. Zealous desperation provokes divine intervention.

It is anathema to go through January to December and not smell a miracle!

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. (Acts 16:25, 26 KJV)

There are instances when God moved suddenly.

A) To break the prison doors. Acts.16:26. Psalms 102:18-20

Prison is limitation, restriction, destitution, darkness and gloominess. By reason of creation and redemption, you must not be imprisoned!

And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. (Mark 5:29 KJV)

B) God moves suddenly for spiritual elevation.

God is able to give you sudden spiritual encounters.

The man who wrote the book, Angels on Assignment, was not looking for any such experience.

 it came suddenly, swiftly and copiously.

Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts. (Malachi 3:1 KJV)

C) God moves suddenly to vindicate his servants and silence mocking tongues.

Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord fought for Israel. (Joshua 10:12-14 KJV)

Elijah also prayed;
Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. (1 Kings 18:37, 38 KJV)

Prayer Points

Can you pray this Prayers  right now?

1. Every prison incarcerating my destiny, health, finance, vision, provision, relationship, next level, anointing, etc, vomit me by fire
2. God of  suddenly, arise and break every prison doors.
3. God, my case is urgent. Visit my life by fire in Jesus name
4. In the name of Jesus, I call forth emergency visitation; emergency intervention, emergency miracles…
5. I command every hanging blessing to be loosed forthwith in Jesus name.
