The Sheep Hear His Voice

Jn. 10:1-6

Do you know that animals recognise the voices of their owners? Because the owner takes care of them everyday, gives them food and treats whichever is sick, they develop intimacy and they can recognise the voice of their owner. The day a stranger comes to feed them, they will discover it. Jesus used the analogy of the relationship between the sheep and the shepherd to illustrate the types of relationship that should be between Him and His followers. Have you walked closely with Jesus to be able to recognise and distinguish His voice from that of the devil and strangers? If no, you have to develop that intimacy with Jesus.

Point of Emphasis:     Jesus is the shepherd of the sheep, hear His voice

Prayer Point:              Lord, help me not to mistake Your voice for the voice of stranger.

LES BREBIS ENTENDENT SA VOIX

JEAN 10:1-6

Sais-tu que les animaux reconnaissent la voix de leurs propriétaires ? Parce que ceux-là  prennent soin d’eux tous les jours, leur donnent à manger et soignent ceux qui sont malades. Ils développent ainsi une intimité et peuvent reconnaître la voix de leur propriétaire. Le jour où une personne étrangère arrive pour les nourrir, ils le sauront. Jésus se servit de la relation entre les brebis et le berger pour illustrer les types de relations qui doivent exister entre lui et ses adeptes. As-tu marché de près avec Jésus pour être en mesure de reconnaître et de distinguer sa voix de celle du diable et des ‘étrangers’? Sinon, tu dois développer cette intimité avec lui (Jésus).

Point essentiel : Jésus est le berger des brebis, écoute sa voix.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, aide-moi à ne pas prendre ta voix pour celle d’une personne étrangère.
