Prejudice

Acts 10:9-23

We sometimes allow our prejudice and pre-conceived notions to influence our church activities and programmes. Our plans may therefore be at variance with the plan and purpose of God. The prejudice may be against a particular minister, whom we do not agree with or whom we feel cannot bless us spiritually. It may be prejudice against some group of people who we have excluded from those that God can bless or save. We need to know that God is colour blind and gender insensitive. He deals with Christian on the basis of their readiness to obey His commands. Just as the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God, so is the prejudice of man.

Point of Emphasis:    God does not work to honour or satisfy our prejudiced opinions.

Prayer Point:             Father, cure us of all our prejudice and jaundiced opinions about ourselves and other people.
